As Jordan Brand prepares not just for the launch of the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 «Bred,» but also the upcoming release of the reimagined Air Jordan 1 High OG «Black Toe» this week, they have even more exciting plans in store to celebrate the silhouette’s 40th anniversary.

This year’s lineup of Air Jordan 1 releases includes a fresh new design, specifically the women-exclusive «Ruby» version of the Air Jordan 1 High OG. The color scheme recalls the iconic «Bred Toe,» with white gracing the midfoot area on the leather upper and black dominating the Swooshes, Wings logo, the base of the collar, and the forefoot overlays. A vibrant red hue, textured to mimic rubies, is featured on the collar overlay, heel counter, and toe box. The design concludes with a white stitched midsole and red rubber outsole, offering an initial peek at this upcoming pair.

As I write now, Jordan Brand hasn’t specified when the «Ruby» color version of the Air Jordan 1 High OG will be available for purchase. Keep an eye out for future announcements, including sneak peeks at the shoes, as we anticipate this new design to hit stores on May 22, priced at $180 USD.
